1953 Bear Bow Quiver,, Need Pics & Info

I just picked up a 53 static tipped kodiak,,, do you guys know if they used a bow quiver on this style bow and if so do you have a picture of it or know where can find one (PM me but asssuming you follow whats available and by whome)

this is a hunting bow which I'll take care of but I'd like to keep the bow as period correct as possible,,as long as its practicle and not some noisy rattle trap.

BUT my father said he didn't think many used the bow quivers on that style riser back then, him and his brothers all used pocket or hip style quivers.

I believe that the only bow quiver available at that time was the "scabbard" quiver.  It attaches to a threaded bushing in the riser that you would need to locate and add to the bow if not already equipped.

The grippers got really hard on most of the scabbard quivers. They only held three arrows. The later leather top held held four arrows.
As Hobow stated, you need the bushing installed in the grip area for the scabbard quiver.  That was the only bow quiver on the market then.
