Thanks for the feedback. Pack animal: Initially, the upper limb had several longitudinal cracks near the limb tip. When the bow was being strung it was noticed that it began to twist. At that point it appeared that the core wood was affected too. We attempted a repair by injecting the several cracks and allowed them to cure under pressure. A subsequent stringing of the bow did not initially show twisting but he moment a draw was attempted the limb immediately failed and the cracks went all the way through! Sort of splintered apart.
