Bear quiver question ?
« on: March 02, 2012, 10:36:00 AM »
I've recently gotten the urge for a vintage Bear recurve and was lucky enough yesterday to find a 1966 Kodiak in excellent condition. I'm looking to put a Bear quiver on it from  that year and was wondering if my only option is a spring arm quiver. Thanks.

I've seen some people use those Selway slip on quivers, and they seem to work pretty good too.

The quivers available in 1966 for the Kodiak were the: L-640R 8 arrow quiver which was a springarm quiver with green plastic hood, the L-645R 4 arrow quiver which was a brown metal hood springarm, the L660 brown metal hood wich attached with a single screw to the handle bushing, and the L650 which was a brown meatl hood and had two brackets that taped to the handle. Hope this helps.

Thanks wadde. I think I have a line on a leather top spring arm quiver which should look great on it.
