I always shoot wood, course I only shoot wood even in the newer bows.

I have wood, fiberglass, alumimun and carbon on hand. For flu flus it's fiberglass mostly. Groundhog arrows are aluminum. 3-D and hunting are carbons and the wood I use to shoot indoors in the basement where I may whack them together some or rabbit hunting.

I'm shooting some MJ Log No.8's fiberglas & 50-55, 55-60 cedar out of my 45# to 50# Bears, 500-600gr. Arrows.
