Jim,
I had one of Dean's Firestix selfbows for about 6 years and then sold it to a Trad Gang member.
Even though I've always been a 60's Kodiak guy - I still regret selling it to this day.  That selfbow was not only beautiful to look at (with Dean's aniline dye job) but from one nock end to the other it was an example of topflight craftsmanship.  Dean is one of the guys that I'd really like to share a campfire with someday.
Dean's bows are very highly thought of and the few I've ever seen come up for sale dont last long.
I've seem them go anywhere from $500 and up to the $800 range.
I dont know how the Grumley past ownership will affect it.  Does it have his name on it?
