I have acquired some Hilbre broadheads that still have the cosmoline on them and was wondering if they have any value.

There are 6 production models of the Hilbre broadhead, they are common and worth a few bucks...

A picture would help nail it down to which one you have.

Can't imagine them having much value. They are very common around here - every flea market and antique store seems to have a few ratty old cedars with Hilbres attached for cheap. A real junk broadhead IMO. I pick them up to use for small game, would never try one on deer.
We are all here because we are not all there.

They will take a super edge and fly superb. They will do fine for deer if you do your part. Not junk, however there are better heads and way more heads that are worse by a long shot.
You are right about them being common, some versions more so than the other versions. The Hilbre and Bowlo shared a great feature....the inside of the ferrule was threaded so they could screw on and off a wood shaft, no glue needed.

You asked about value, yes they are common heads and not hard to find. As far as value goes a few dollars apiece is all and possibly a little more if two collectors want to fight over them on the auction site.
