Dad left me a Bear Kodiak with Fascar. What is Fascar?

Jon,

That would be Fascor. It is a term Bear used for the resin impregnated maple limb laminations I believe. Somebody else with a better explanation should come along though.

"Fascor" was so nifty that I plunked down a few extra bucks to buy a Super Grizzly. Don't know if it was more gimmick than genius, but the ol' Grizz is still solid as a rock.

"Fast Car" was Tracy Chapman's one hit wonder in 1988. I can hum it, but the words escape me.

I like the fascor limbs. Hot and still a very good design. Post pics of your bow.
