I killed two at the JLMBH and I shot blunts. Judos are not real good as they catch on brush on the way thru. Wingnuts sharpened are a tad better but again the snag on brush. No flu-flu you do not want anything slowing your arrow down. Broadheads are great with the tip snipped off but not when dogs and lots of other hunters are hunting with ya. Also rabbits are very tough. I know ya see guys say they die easy, well not the ones we hunt. I have seen them take a nutter from an 85# bow at 10 yards and roll over and keep right on going. We have some get away every year that are hit hard. I really like blunts and the Ace hex heads but they can be pricey. bring lots of arrows, we had two guys standing 10 ft. apart last year lose a half dozen each of custom arrows in a matter of 20 minutes. Well, in all fairness, most of the rabbits on the bunny hunt are pretty big...at least, they looked pretty big. That first rabbit taken last year looked huge for a bunny...

don't use flu flus. As Shawn said, broadheads are great with the tip cut off. Game Nabbers are also real good, as are the magnus blunts

I never use broadheads on rabbits; I've had two rabbits run away after being shot through with one.  One ran nearly a hundred yards and went into a groundhog hole.

They are very easy to kill so I like to use an HTM blunt, or other larger base blunt tip.  The cut-off end of a 30:30 case works well for this and adds some weight to the end of the arrow as well.   I'm talking about cottontails now, not hares such as snowshoes.

i love the ace hex heads they are very good, but can be expensive if your loosing a lot of arrows.

Just use what you have, I just use some junkey arrows that i don't mind loosing. When the snows deep you can loose them real easy. I used Judo's and hex last season, but like Shawn said the Judo's get hung up on the brush easy. This season I'm just going with blunts.

What about those who deer hunt with heavy heads? Do you just screw on the standard 125's and hope the accuracy doesn't change, or use different arras?

Modified Wensel Woodsman is my #1 choice, followed by Ace Hex head.

These two head are the most lethal I have used, and seen used by FAR!!!
