Green Bear spring quiver restoration?
« on: June 03, 2012, 11:55:00 PM »
I bought an Browning Nomad Stalker I tonite on the auction and it has a Bear spring quiver on it and the whole works is spray painted.  I've stripped down an Fury II with 100% acetone before and it turned out beautiful after some Tru oil and advise from you guys.  Plan on doing the same with this bow, but I was wondering if the acetone might damage the plastic quiver, dull it or even remove the Bear logo.  Any suggestions?

I would not use acetone on plastic. You might try a small spot with Goof-Off and see what happens. I'm not a chemist, but I think acetone would harm the plastic and erase the logo.
