this is a mystery to me

can anyone tell me anything about this bow. i've never heard of it. i've had it about 2 weeks & i can't seem to find anyone who knows anything about it.

Here are pics of this mystery bow.  My guess is it was discovered hidden inside King Tut's tomb.

Hello.  upload the photos to photobucket.com, saved as "medium" sized,(between 300 and 400), then copy and paste the img. code to your post will work.

i pushed the wrong key, kinda normal for me. mabey i'll figure it out later, but what a way to start out. if that bow came from '' tuts tomb '' then i'am making a long new bow list. anyway there it is if you know anything about it let us know.thanks for your help & by the way  no offence taken

I believe it was made by Glen Wilson in Muskegon, Michigan.  I shot the same bow in tournaments back in the 60's.  I still have my bow and has the same sticker on it although my bow has a laminated riser and is 27# at 26".  We live in Muskegon and Glen and my dad were friends.

thanks a lot for the info. that sets my mine at ease. It's a very good shooting bow, but at 41# well i would just like to have a little more to hunt with . something like 50 or so.  i don't know where i'll keep it or not. but any way i appreicate it very much   THANKS GUYS

Mine also has the same green glass on the limbs.  Glen wasn't in business long so it  could be of interest to a collector.

The strung profile looks a lot like a 61-62 Kodiak. I bet it shoots good.

IT does shoot very good I just like a little more  # I think I'll put it in the classifieds. have a good one everyone, and try to stay cool it's going to be 104 here in ky today.

Wow...at 104, you guys better not leave those bows out in the vehicle...strung or unstrung.

It was 46 and cloudy here in the northwest and barely made it to 70.  We have had the fewest days of 70 or more in recent memory.

Now I gotta go over to the classifieds and see what you're asking for that relic.
