70's LL Bean Whitetail recurve??
« on: August 07, 2012, 02:01:00 AM »
A friend just picked  this one up from a co-worker and I am trying to dig up some info on them with no luck.  Looks like the riser is bubinga and its a super shorty.  Fun little bow, just curious about value, collectabilty and history really.  Any help is appreciated folks.  The riser marking are as follows.
LL Bean
Whitetail

I am not familiar with them but I am guessing they were most likely made by one of the common archery manufacturers and labeled for sale by LL Bean. I would say: Pearson, Herters, Indian Archery, etc.
