I use 5-minute epoxy on my field points, as I've had the hot melt get brittle in cold weather....if I m-m-m-miss and hit something pretty hard, and then shoot in to the target, I've lost points in the target....

For broadheads, I stay with hot melt, as (hopefully) they're designed for "one-way express", and the hot melt is a lot easier to get the B/H off if desired.  Epoxy can also be removed with heat, but it takes more heat to get the job done...

However, if you're shooting B/H's at targets, I can certainly see the advantage....

I use Quick Stick from Custom King. It won't get brittle in cold or soft in heat. Great stuff
