1959 bear bows
« on: December 06, 2012, 01:45:00 PM »
I have been trying to collect one of each model of 59 bears.I am not sure what all diffrent models there were in 59 but i think it was Kodiak special, Kodiak, Polar, Grizzly, Alaskan, Cub. Was there a 59 Panda? Also does anyone have a pic of a 59 Cub? I cant find any pics here of one so far.
Thank!
Matt

There was a Panda in the Bear catalog but no Cub.

Thanks Phil. I will keep my eyes out for a Panda then. That one wont cost a lot either, lol.Do you know what color the glass is on a 59? I think it would be one of the ones with a leather handle and a plastic wedge that slips under the leather and could be used on either side?

Thank you Bjorn! It looks just like a 59 Alaskan except it looks like it uses a wedge under the leather instead of a true shelf like the alaskan. Now i know what to look for.
