I'm interested to know has anyone ever heard of one with a 53# draw weight? I can't seem to find any mention of that weight. Any info would be appreciated.

In those years the weight was marked with exactly what it pulled so any weight(within reason) could be labeled on it.

I love the brown glass on those '67's too.  BTW, I have a '65 Griz with 53# marked.  But like Nick said, not a rarity at all to find that weight.

The 1967 Grizzly is a fine shooting bow!!  Love mine but have it out on loan to a guy who is considering starting trad.
