Similar setups. 46#@26" ???
« on: December 14, 2007, 10:27:00 PM »
I ordered a Bob Lee Hunter one piece today.  54" 51# at 28 inches.  Im gonna try to get by w/ some 26.5 inch 3555 Goldtips I have on hand. I thought I better put the 100gr inserts in them to start w/ a 125gr. point.  Anybody else shoot a similar set up?  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thanks.

you may need to go up in point weight to 145 or 175. bareshaft it and see which weight it likes best. you should have plenty of penetration with this setup if your arrows are tuned to the bow.
