Bow ID please.
« on: February 03, 2013, 11:47:00 PM »
Old style "stamped" bow stats and other numbers.

Impeccable shape, does not appear refinished.  Other than the stamped numbers a "MEIGS" sticker is under the finish.

I have never seen a TIM Meigs bow with a sticker but does not mean such did not exist or was possibly made for a company?

Regardless, a very neat old bow. Stamped numbers (that I feel mean such) match the bow.

49 lbs
58 inches.

The number "472" is ringing a bell dimly in my noggin but....I am at a loss for a positive ID so here it is.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
I wasnt aware if Tim was contactable online or not so feel free to forward the photos to him if you have a contact email.

God Bless
Steve

Last I heard Mr. Meigs was in Carson City. Up until the last year or so he was a familier friendly face at the Chamberlin Traditional Shoot in Los Olivos but have not heard anything about his where abouts lately.
Nice Bow Steve!!

Looks like a Meigs custom bow modeled on the Grizzly design.

It does indeed. Perhaps even in the "Super Grizzly" with the laminated stripe.

My thanks. Side by side photos of such show too much similarity to be an acccident.
