« on: December 15, 2007, 07:16:00 AM »
Just dropping a line to say hello.
Looking to get my first trad bow as a Christmas gift for myself.  :)  So I prolly won't chime in too often since I lack any expierence but I'm glad I found the msg board.
Anyways, my pain meds are kicking very fast now so I should log off.  :D
Have a nice day fellas,
   Dave

I would say that if you don't have much experience at this traditional stuff, you should log on a lot more.  The reason, you will find that you will have more questions to ask the more you get into this.  That is why old timers like me are always asking new questions.  Keep it fun, and think adventure.

Ha thanks all, just a tooth that needs to go but I'm being stubborn as usual.
As far as bows, I'm so confused I just don't know. Every time I'm convinced on one I see another I like. Almost got a Martin Hunter for $212 from another site last night. I was stoked but then in the end I noticed that the reserve price wasn't met bleh..
But I'm thinking of going for a cheap (price) recurve and low weight. Figure out what I truly want later on. The chekmate bows sure do look killer though. Then there's the recurve vs longbow question in my head... what a can of worms eh.  :D
