I would like to try wood arrows out of my longbow, but I am having a very hard time finding the right ones. I shoot a Hill style longbow with a b-50 string at 62 lbs and 31 3/4". The shafts I am using now are full length 2018's, 33". The fly great. I can't seem to find a chart to tell me what spine arrow I need. Aparently I am the only archer wtih a draw length over 31 inches!!!!!! I would also like a shaft weight of about 450 grains so I could make 600 to 650 grain arrows. I see that 3 rivers and rose city both have test kits, to see what spine shoots best for you. That is what I am looking for, however both of the kits say that the total legnth will only make a 31" arrow. I have found two arrow makers who will make the longer arrow I need, but I can't afford to buy 3 dozen arrows to find what spine I need. Does any body out there have this problem, any help will be appreciated!
