64" 1969 Super K
« on: May 09, 2013, 12:03:00 PM »
Can this bow safely handle my 31" draw?

If so, I'd love to own one. What have these bows, in VGC, been selling for recently? Do I have to sell a kidney to buy one?

What type wood was used in these. Pics would be great, if someone has some.

Thanks,
Dave

if the bow is structurally sound I would say yes...it is 64" which helps...any old bow will have inherent risk of course....as for value I would say 350 to 400 my opinion only...you will see them go for more..depends how bad you want it....I got a nice 67 superkodiak for 300 about 3 years ago...took a nice whitetail buck and a turkey with it...very smooth pull...I only pull 26 inches and the bow is a 60 inch bow at 64# at 28...so I get about 58#. I really like the 68 and 69 rose wood caps....still looking for one in LH at a weight of 55 lbs to 65 lbs....like finding the albino rhino

good luck....love all those vintage Kodiaks and SK

The bow would easily shoot for you. The 64" model is an awesome bow.
The bow has a high compression phenolic riser with rosewood horns. The most beautiful Super Kodiak ever made.
Enjoy.

philip agree they are beauties...which there were more lefthanded ones out there..I need heavier poundage too for the shorter draw length...

by the way I got some mint #1 limbs for my B riser in #59 lbs from another nice tradgang member awhile back they are smooth and bow shoots great....love the riser as well....

There's a LH 1967 Supet Kodiak that's 64"
On **** now. It's 45# but a real nice bow.
