WANTED... 1967 Kodiak Magnum (info)
« on: May 22, 2013, 07:54:00 PM »
Last Spring, I was put out of the house during divorce proceedings, with an Order Of Protection. I moved back into my house last fall and got custody of my youngest son Tyler. While getting prepared for hunting season, I noticed that my 55# Kodiak Mag was "missing"... Along with my oldest son's backquiver, and some arrows.

Assumeing my ex-wife sold it while I was out of the house, I approched her on it... She denide knowing anything about it!!!    I hoped to try and track it down, but had no idea, where to start looking.

Tonight, while talking to Tyler, He remembered a man coming to the house looking for my ex-wife (who was not home) and that he said he was looking for "this" and showed Tyler an auction statement listing an "Archery Set"...

The bow was a 55# Bear Kodiak Magnum, with a Bearhair rest and a 3-line strikeplate, a green & yellow flemish twist string with a single nockpoint & catwhiskers.

The backquiver was a Wyondotte "field quiver" that my son made frome a kit when he was 11 years old. The arrows (if any) would have been woodies.

I'm assumeing the bow was sold on Craigslist, because it seems to have been picked up in person. It was in the New York/Hudson Valley area, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The seller's name was Lisa Nelson.

Any help in finding this bow & quiver will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

THANK YOU!!! Chuck Nelson "woodchucker"
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!

Good luck chuck, Even though it might be semi local, it will be like a needle in a haystack!
Relax,

You'll live longer!
