Lacquer storage ?
« on: December 15, 2007, 04:25:00 PM »
I just bought some dip tubes from 3Rivers do most of you store the lacquer and paint in the tubes when you finished dipping? Or would I be better off putting it back in the cans and cleaning out the tubes?

If it's just a tube, I'd put it back in the can and seal it.  I use the "Little Dipper" for cap dips, and the "Big Dipper" for full lacquer coats.  Those have a solid bottom and a airtight screw on top, so I leave my lacquer in those.
All the best,
Glenn
If at first you don't succeed.... buy newer / better equipment!
