Micro-Flite #2s
« on: July 24, 2013, 08:44:00 AM »
I just picked up a 1/2 dozen micro-flite #2s from a vendor at an archery shoot.  For you arrow experts, what would be the same size aluminum arrow? I'm thinking about a 1616 or so.

Thanks

old arrow chart in Tradgang How-to forum

Yeager, here's the link to the charts from an old Anderson Archery Catalog from the Tradgang How-to archives.  It only goes down to size 3, but as you can see that's pretty light.

Ray,
Thanks for the info.  I got these shafts for my wife, just to experiment with.

According to an old microflite arrow chart:

#2's are good for the following:

Target arrows

20# to 25#  @ 28"
25# to 30#  @ 27" and 28"
30# to 35#  @26" and 27"
35# to 40#  @25" and 26"
40# to 45#  @24" and 25"
45# to 50#  @24"

Hunting arrows
20# to 25#  @26"
25# to 30#  @25" and 26"
30# to 35#  @24" and 25"
35# to 40#  @23" and 24"

Hope this helps.

My chart is complete starting with size 0 to size 10 if anyone else needs info of a copy of the chart.

Micro-flite size 2 as listed  at 28" lenght is the same shaft size, spine of the Easton 1716. With a target type 50 gr. point about a 30 pound bow.
