68 Kodiak Hunter question
« on: October 30, 2013, 07:58:00 AM »
I have a 1968 60" LH Kodiak Hunter that has a red dot on the riser behind the strike plate. The mark looks to be original from the factory. Anybody know what the mark signifies? I have looked all over the internet and the *********** looking for an answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Need to see a picture.  Is it a paint mark, a sticker, or what?

I'll try to post a pic, but it will probably by Friday.

I had two of his bows that I traded away some 10 or more years ago.  If I recall correctly, neither had his name on  them and only Scorpion and the data on weight, draw length etc. on them.  No decals were used and the writing was penned on under the finish.  Both were 68" in length.  One was all purple heart with a scrimshaw inlay in the riser and 65# at 28*.  The second was black locust and 67# at 28*.  Wish I kept them.

Excuse my post above.  It was meant for the question on M.R. Hamilton.
