Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Fool me three times, forget about it.

Three seller IDs for one guy is not good. The new policies on the big site protect the buyer - any seller angry at this "change" is worried about his products. I agree with both sides on this one - but I would only pay using Paypal and free shipping!  (If the deal was a bust, I would get a full refund that way, even if it took a month.)

Mr Mrmxyzptlk's recent feedback from a happy buyer - Actual shipping was $20.85 so I expect a refund of $19.15 (paid $40 to ship)

Mr. Mrmxyzptlk's response - Fine ****er: leaves the DUMBEST feedback ever.

CCWest1964 would have replied "another mentally impaired ****er; a pimple on the butt of society," or "obvious Offspring of incestuous relationship" or "buyer lies, is on blocked bidder list, should go back to Afghanistan." To be fair, these three guys never called any kettles or pots black, but they mostly buy and sell bows and knives.

Hello all.
My life has had me preoccupied for a awhile, so I haven't been posting here.  I have still been able to dabble in the buy, sell, and trade market though.
There have been times I have been lucky and scored a great deal.  There have also been times I have been burned.  There have been times I have shied away from a deal. And times I have had a buyer nit pick an item to death, something which was made "sixty" + yrs ago, used for forty of those yrs and then stored for another twenty in a storage unit or garage.... and the buyer wants it to as pristine as a new baby's butt.    There have also been many many times I have had good deals and received great comments from people buying or trading with me, those make me enjoy this community...
I will pass on a couple more of my thoughts:
1) As has been said here so many times:  The best protection is a hands on sale, see the item for yourself and buy accordingly.
"But if you are going to swim in the murky waters expect leaches"...
2) The definition of a good deal is when the buyer and seller are both happy...
"regardless of what everyone else thinks"...
& 3)  Judge not lest yea be judged;
I have also been on the receiving end of someone "spreading the word" that an item I was selling was in their "opinion" JUNK when in fact there was nothing wrong with it.... It leaves a really bad taste and sting when you honestly present an item for sale, only to find out a person, who had no intention of considering buying it, is poisoning the pool by handing out their condemnation...

This is exactly why the protection offered by PayPal to buyers is so important.
If it isn't junk, you keep it. If it is, you get a refund.
I  looked over the feedback from all three identities before I weighed in. It is very easy to check references. Google the three seller aliases and you will be linked to the big E site that has all the feedback for all three aliases. This multiple personality seller flips a lot of bows, and I would not be surprised if "they" were lurking right now and reading these posts.

Here is feedback from 20 buyers on the big E about longlazar/ccwest1964/mrgnk1:

Beware; seller misrepresents merchandise and is difficult to deal with

LIAR! THIEF! Email me, I'll copy his dirty emails to you! Low-Class Seller! Lies

won item ,never received, money refunded

Bow was described as "excellent" "mint" "straight". It was a twisted mess.

WonPaidSellerTriedToExtortMore$'ToShipAfterListingClosedHowDoYouSpell-----SNAKE!

I don't know if it was the heat & packing stress but both limbs are twisted abit

No communication from seller, incomplete&late shipment, over estimated condition

sent payment not once but twice. bow sell to low? i choose u not to pay. Crook

bow offered 3 times, cancelled 2nd time due to GREED, SHE NEEDS TO USE RESERVE

Bow Not as nice as described, hid small nail under arrow rest he put on,Shootable

Very dispointed in the bow, major cracks many areas, repaired, lost $

Second-Class THIEF! Knowingly sold DAMAGED and REPAIRED bow! Email me for proof!

Sent me twisted bow, won`t own up to it-Theif- he has my money-He`s Rude,Ignorant

Seller sent cracked bow/ said it "must have happened during shipping". Right

17 negatives/ complete ripoff/ bow was cracked bad/ lied about refund/ idiot !!!

said "near mint museum qual", had replacement decal(not shown) and cracks!

Item was stolen prior to shipment, payment was returned.

Won't answer e-mail so he can sell at higher $$$ - Poor communicator bad seller

Ware nicht eingetroffen trotz Zahlung ( translates as: goods not arrived despite cash)

I would NEVER buy from longlaser, He will NOT refund costs after promising to!!

Judge not, but don't be naive.

This is the reason there is no buying or selling on this forum, and the reason the TradGang classifieds are so carefully monitored.

My friend sold a bow to him on the big auction. He received it, complained that it was not as listed. It clearly was. My friend being the care free trad guy that he is, said no problem, immediately electronically sent his refund and return shipping for the bow.
No bow came. When he called the shady buyer, he did at least answer my friend. He was keeping the bow, keeping the refund and selling the bow when he was done. Tough crap, you lose.
I hope my friend never catches up with him. He is 6'1,230# lean, held the natural world powerlifting record some years ago and is a Thai fighter.
The trad world is no place for scumbags.

David, that's theft and I am sure he could have done something about it. I was feeling the same way your friend did. Sad we have some shady people in this community. The guy has many enemies. I have no idea how he sleeps at night. Tried the same thing with me, but I knew better than to give in. Besides; his true colors from E mail made it obvious enough to mr right off the bat. Likely we will see a new name from him as I turned all his listings in, and **** pulled them.

Atta boy Shane. No clue why my friend didn't push it.
Glad you did.
We will be watching for him and alert everyone when he's spotted.
