Just picked up a bear Tamerlane, 69" 35#. has the original string but the brace height seems high. Anyone know what it should be?. the serial # is 9B1619 anyone know what year it was made? Is this a grayling Bow ?

Your Tamerlane is a 1969. I believe the brace height is higher on the Tamerlanes between 9-10". I've found Meguiars Ultimate compound does a nice job of cleaning up old bows. A couple coats of Johnsons paste wax after polishing protects them.

Yes it is a Grayling bow and Jack is correct 1969. It sold new for 250.00 and with the Bear Jeffrey sight was 300.00.
