It is a matter of personal preference. Root and Shakespeare bows do shoot smoother than the Bear bows from the same time frame. They do not stack like the Bear bows do. The longer Bear bows like the Kodiak Specials do hold their own in comparison but shoot a Root or an early Shakespeare and you will see what I am saying. They are some smooth shooting bows.
