stag bow
« on: July 11, 2014, 10:16:00 AM »
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A friend of mine gave me a bow that seems to be made of solid aluminum. It is a 65" recurve that has a rib down the belly of the bow from the riser to about 15" either way. This bow seems to be a very heavy draw weight as I cannot even start to string it without using a stringer. The only thing I can find on this bow as far as a tag is a Shield that looks like a U that is closed on the top with the word stag in the top and a red banner about half way down the shield.
Can anyone give me any info on the bow.

Thanks

OK from the info on the other post I think this is an Ivanhoe. It is a full lenght cast with a wooden handle wrapped in leather. Now can anybody tell me if it is worth anything.

Thanks
Bill

THANK YOU, I will give it back to the owner and tell him to hang it on his wall.
