I was hunting half a day only and was about to sit in my tree stand for the evening hunt but decided to sit on the ground . I set up on the north edge of a small set of poplar trees and was looking north as a whitetailed deer had been skirting the area on the north edge daily. Right at quitting time I heard a twig snap behind me and turned to see the moose was west and was walking to the  east and south of me
I picked an opening and as the light was fading it was difficult to pick a spot ...so I looked up the front leg and picked the area just up the leg and back a few inches and released the arrow...the arrow flew true and the moose went about 75 yards or so...1970 b riser ....rose oak limbs 53#
arrow weighed 610 grains and had an eclipse broadhead...shot was about 30 yards
this bow shoots so smooth and is easy to shoot..the heavy riser seems to stabilize your bow arm

Brad I got thinking last evening about the key to the success you and Brent and Randy have had this year and the key is very simple...you guys can shoot and shoot under a bit of pressure when things are less than perfect...the International Bowhunter Education Program teaches "archer first, bowhunter second" and you three are shining examples of that thinking

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
