I have a Black Swan I call Spooky. She is all black and the quietest bow I've ever owned. I've owned a few bows too.

G&L 3PC. longbow named "OL' UG" because it is the ugliest bow ever, but it's a killer.

3 PC. Acadian Treestick named "Cooter" because it was given to me by the Coots family.
If you've never been in the woods at daylight, and seen the world come alive, you haven't " Lived".

When I get my first custom bow built I am going to have it named "The Final Word". Since my last name is Word I thought it would be fitting.

I finally named a one of my selfbows.  Osage with some twist that I couldn't totally get out.  Named her,  "Twisted Sister".

I still own a wheelie bow that hasen't been used in so long that it my have rusted away by now; poor thing never had a name. But for some reason I name every bow I build and hunt with. Got one named "Ltl Rick" after my friend that cut me a hickory off his property and brought it to me at Church. Another one named Sandy after his wife that laughed at us. Been hunting with "Ely"; this bow was named after my 2 year old grandson that had to help me work on it. Then there is "Triple Try"; the laminated longbow that I had to saw apart and reglue three times to get the poundage down. Working on "Copperstrike" right now, got some copperhead skins to cover it with. O-ya; can't forget "Paulette's Diamond" after my understanding wife who say's nothing even though I have spent enough money on this addiction to buy her a diamond! (And many more) Yes; you just gotta name your bow, gives it character.
