Ok Y'all, I Just restored a newly acquired Ben Pearson Sovereign Golden Conqueror.
There is hardly no info about this bow, this style! I was very surprise that I even won it!
I was drooling over the prospect that I would actual acquire it, let alone own it!

Specs:

62" AMO
44#
60x- Dacron, endless loop String, 12 strand
Hoyt super rest- Didn't want to shoot off the shelf- super accurate using the Hoyt Super rest

I am not sure what Kind of wood the riser is made of, Rosewood?
Tip overlays- Phenolic??

Neat bow! I love old Pearsons! Looks like rosewood to me. Really like the green glass.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Nice job Julius, and welcome to Tradgang.
I saw that bow and considered bidding on it.  There was another one that I was interested in, though, so I bid on it and lost.  I know very little about Pearsons but would hazard a guess that it was built between 1961 and 1964.  Maybe some one can tell me how close my guess is.

That color of glass with the dark wood resulted in an eye catching bow.  My sixty two Kodiak Special is very close to being the same color combination.  It is the bow that stands out on the bow rack.

Thanks @Warpedarrow. Yeah I did a "Hail Mary" bid and walked away! Next thing I know, I was the new owner! I had Previously bided on a sears 58" 45lb recurve as a backup, just in case I didn't when the Conqueror- And low and behold, I won the sears recurve as well! The sears has the same Geometry as a Bear Grizzly and Phenolic tips ( ben or Indian didn't do many Phenolic tip overlays). The seller thought it may have been made by B. Pearson or Indian. I did some research, and to my surprise, Bear did make a few bows for Sears. I will post pictures after I restore it with a dark cherry finish.

Great job on the refinish.  Some of those Pearsons were real lookers and performers and that Conqueror is one of them.  As for exact year, I'm not sure...but '61-'64 is close I bet.  These were popular in the '60's when all the rage was for target bows with stability and lots of pretty wood.  I think I read that Pearson even put out a separate catalog for their Soverign series, so I think that says how special they were.

Almost certainly a 1965.  You can download the 1965 Golden Sovereign catalog from the current Ben .Pearson Archery site. Rosewood and Ebonite riser. Tip overlays are Ebonite and fiberglass .Sweet shooter, very stable in hand.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
