Sandy Claws made an early stop this year!!
« on: December 17, 2007, 10:10:00 PM »

I got lucky in an auction last week. I didn't think I would get the opportunity to have one of these bows, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up. All the stuff in the pic came with it. This is my first longbow. It has the LAG/SAG grip, which should make the adjustment easier since I've been shooting an SAG lately.

I've shot it a little bit already and have been really impressed!! It's super smooth and shoots great. I've got to work up some arrows for it. It came with a dozen cedar arrows that shoot decent from it, but I don't know what the spine of them is or if they are matched to this bow or not. The bow is in mint condition without a scratch on it. My carbons (CE heritage 250 29 1/2" 150 tip) are a little stiff for this bow but the actually shoot pretty good. I probably need to go down to a 150 or go up in point weight.

Ok.  First thing.  Beautiful bow.  Now::  Not meaning to be nosey but how much would a bow like that go for in this day and age????

Bow,Hard Case, soft case, bow sock,4 extra strings, BW back quiver, tab, 1 dozen cedar arrows, 6 woodsman broadheads, was less than 1K. I've been bidding on and losing out on bows for almost a year. Now the compound is going out the door to help pay for it!! Don't think I'll miss it   ;) .

I had a lag once, 1 of the best longbows I've ever owned. You'll enjoy shooting and hunting with it. Merry CHRISTmas

Nice.

Santa hasn't arrived yet at my house but he's got a Pittsley Predator Hunter in the sleigh for me that he picked up from that big auction site. Can't wait.

Good shooting and hunting.
