More cancer, more prayers
« on: August 06, 2006, 08:36:00 AM »
Folks,

I'm overwhelemed with the amount of cancer in our world.  I've been informed of an elderly aunt in San Antonio who's had wonderful health but then found breast cancer..now as the treatment/surgery went well, there is a cascade of horrible health issues befalling this wonderful woman. Her son is in the area, but single and has led an enterprenural life and has no insurance and now he's diagnosed with diabetes but no coverage to go to the doctors.

I've not had any feedback from the young man, Butch, I'd asked prayers for before... Just the very occassional email.  He has liver cancer.

Allan, the 2nd gentleman in an earlier prayer request had prostate surgery last week, I've not chosen to call till this coming week to give him some recuperative time. I pray his surgery went well with no complications and erradication of all cancer cells.

Please keep them all in prayer for God's peace and healing, According to His will.

Blessing to all here and their famlies.

Good news on at least ONE of my prayer concerns!!!

Thank you, Jesus! My new professional associate from a downtown church office underwent Cancer prostate surgery last week of August and is doing great. Surgery went well.  They report that the biopsy didn't show how advanced the cancer was (Yikes...so much for biopsy)and it was a good thing they operated even though he was only 42 years old!

I checked with the church first and found that indeed, the news was great and he's doing very well with the cathater out and all already!

Thanks for your prayers for Allan. I've not heard an update on Butch's liver cancer and have tried to re-establish communications with him.

My Aunt Dot in Tx, well... I just hope she can find some relief from all the varied malise that have come on  her so quickly after successful breast cancer surgery.

Thanks everyone for the prayers! Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
