Continued prayers for His healing touch to heal first your daughter's heart and then help her kick the drugs.

It's a tough road and as stated above, I've seen and learned it sometimes is not a "one time" thing, but can be when God is in the driver's seat!

Just don't give up, as He doesn't give up on us.

As a CD/Family therapist with some experience, I can say without a doubt, that many sick and suffering from the terrible disease of addiction have been,"Prayed" into recovery.  Your daughter and your family will be added to my daily prayers.

Well it's been a tough holiday for my daughter. She put herself in to rehab but won't be able to get in for another month. They have her seeing a different doctor and they took her off the meds that had been working for her and put her on something different. It's really messed her up. She has slurred speech, paranoia, depression, and she's worse off then when she was drinking. Praying that the dr gets things straightened out quick. It looks like the lawyers are going to remove parential rights and start adoption procedures. My ex and I will try to get the two girls adopted. Hate this as getting the girls back was the main motivator for my daughter. I'm ticked at my daughter's case worker cause she's told my daughter that if she goes to drug court instead of rehab she will get the girls in 3 weeks. This is pure bull cause my daughter couldn't take care of herself let alone the girls.
Please pray for this to get straightened out soon.
Thanks again!

Just hoping that there'd be some good news from your end...

That pharmacology stuff is a tricky act to get regulated...  :(   My heart goes out to you, your family, your daughter and the grandkids...

it's never simple, is it?

I've renewed my prayers for all of you.

Hey Brother !
How bout an update. I hate to see anyone messed up with drugs and alchohol, especially our kids.
Just don't ever give up on her. We should always look at someone for what they could be, and not what we think they are. God has a plan, we just have to assemble the puzzle sometimes. Prayers will be lifted up for you and yours.
                                GOD BLESS YOU

And knowing your heart from seeing you here, I bet that you're fighting with yourself over your inability out-of-state to impact the childcare situation for the daughters kid(s).

Tough spot.  Drugs are the scourge of our society for sure.  They respect nobody. They are an equal opportunity destoryer..just like Satan himself.

All we can do is keep praying for your daughter to have insights and some ephiphany, and your ex-wife, strength, wisdom, peace and the Holy Spirit ministering to her needs to keep her centered.

Blessings to all of you for strength and resolve.
