Count it an honor to pray for your father, thanx be to you for being the type that sees more than what is right in front of their face. I am proud of you for allowing us to lift your father to the throne, most, or at least a lot of people don't see, let alone care enough, to take time to address someone elses needs, again I say thanx. God bless, Brad

Prayers sent for some peace in your father's life and joy at home.

Matt,

Folks don't realize how much stress is put on the shoulders of ministers today. Your dad likes those bigger churches, but I don't recall if this is one where he landed or not. Regardless, let him know that it is ok to sometimes just be tired and weak. Lord understands. As Thomas Merton put it some time back...
**************************************
My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going.

I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end.

Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.

But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you, and I hope that I have that desire in all that I am doing.

I hope that I never do anything apart from that desire.

And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it.

Therefore I will trust you always.

Though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death I will not fear, for you are ever with me and you will never leave me to face my
peril alone.

Thomas Merton,

1915-1968

****************************

We got his back in prayer!

Bless you for reaching out for your own Dad in his time of need so we can reach out to OUR Holy Father on your Dad's behalf!

Prayers up!

Give your Dad my best. I shot Carl a link to this thread, Matt...beings they did seminary together.

Let me know if a personal email would be helpful to him and then PM me his email at work or home, oK?

Y'know I do like your whole family.  You've not said lately how your Sis is doing with the hearing thing?

Prayers for everyone in the Huntley family to be strong, at peace and filled with the Holy Spirit's presence!
