Standing in the valley!!!!!.........help !
« on: January 11, 2007, 11:22:00 PM »
I really don't like to share,but here goes. As some of you know I have manic-deppressive disorder which is a real broadhead in the backside at times I do ok at other times I don't. Guess what time it is? u got it,it got me! I know this is nothing like poor doc is stuck in,but while your in the middle of it it feels like the world is coming down on you, and I also KNOW that He is come to overcome the world, and let your light so shine usually I do, but right now my batteries are a little weak and I KNOW our weakness is made perfect in His strength. I just ask u to drop a word in the great comment box of the sky for me, I think Iam due for a med change!  God bless and thanx in advance, Brad   :help:

Two things Brad.

One, there are souls here far worse off than I as I've been blessed mightily by the friendships found here and the prayer network that unfolded over the 2 years of my trials w/ employment.

This is just my time in the desert. Maybe if I were a quicker learner, I'd know what lesson God is trying to help me learn.

Second, there is never a time to "not ask" so you did good in coming forth to ask for our prayers.  The fact that you've done so tells me that your demons aren't quite as strong as they once were.

Focus on that.

"Lord, our brother Brad has hit one of those times we all do in our own ways. He loves you and believes in you, but right now, the demons of the Liar have caught him in their web.  You've allowed him to have this medical condition that challenges his very being and renders him torn and hobbled.  Place the Holy Spirit on him in ways that Brad will know ummistakeably that it is Your Presence that is with him and surrounds him and brings him through this latest bout of trial. Amen"

Hey Brother way to ask for help, prayers for your strength are on there way. Here is some scripture that really ministered to me in my times of need!
Pslams 34:1-4
1 I will extol the LORD at all times;
       his praise will always be on my lips.
 2 My soul will boast in the LORD;
       let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

 3 Glorify the LORD with me;
       let us exalt his name together.

 4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
       he delivered me from all my fears.
John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Brad I wish there were magic words that could be said to lift your spirit and release you.  There are not.  We here can and will pray for you and God will hear and honor those prayers.  More important He wants you to have faith that He cares about you and can and will see you through.  The Lord has done it for many of us and will also do it for you.  Gods blessing be with you.

Brad,
As long as you continue to reach out in faith and hope, God will NEVER let you go...so hang in there.  Remember the promise:  No weapon formed against us shall proser.  You can take that one to the bank.
I'm praying for you and standing in your corner believing God for a great blessing on your life.  You believe it too...it will happen.

Brad,
Good for you asking for help and prayers. That in it's self is a big leap. God is a faithful God and he will pull you through this rough patch. Trust in Him.
We will be praying for you and continue to lift you up in prayer. We will be prayer warriors for you and stand in the gap. That's what friends are for.....    :wavey:  I encourage you to go see your doc and see if there does need to be a change in meds....that can make a world of difference!
God bless you.....

Prayers continue, Brad!

As one friend put it about faith just today to me,

"We all stumble, we all question, we all self-loath and self-pity, we all scream "why me God" bitterly at times....at least I know I do. But the simple fact that you try....that each day you wake up and say "Lord, I messed that up...will you try to use me again?"....that is the focus. Not the weakness, frailty and shortcoming of our fleshly spirit....but the hope and grace of the Christ who lives in us. If Christ were with you now....and you on your knees at his feet, crying, weeping, broken....and you said "Lord, I am not worthy....I am a floater in the punchbowl of life"....would he not say "Arise my child...for you are forgiven...I have washed you in my blood, yea even daily I wash you. I love you...look at the scars here...touch them and know that these were for you. You are a progeny of The King...the Creator of the Universe and all things...the Alpha and Omega...do not take the title lightly.  Arise Child of God."

Kinda says it all, huh, Brad!?

Peace, brother!

Divine Intervention or as MOm used to say, "God-incidence, not co-incidence..."

REmember, I was just sharing the words sent to me by one of those here in a personal email...One of many helping me daily to cope with my own demons, frailty and fears.

God is divine. God has to be the navigator while we steer the boat to His directions. We've got work to do, but orienting the compass isn't one of them.  Hard for those of us with more "control" issues to accept.

Lord in your mercy...

BRAD,
Keep your eyes on the cross brother. GOD will get you through it all. Just remember when you start feeling low, reach out and He'll always be there. When you start feeling down, step outside,
close your eyes, take a deep breath and let GOD fill your body with his cleansing spirit. It's awesome what HE has done and what HE is going to do in our lives. YOU will remain in our prayers.
                           GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength:they shall mount up with wings as eagles:they shall run and not be weary:and they shall walk and not faint......Isaiah 40;31
