Prayers for my mom please (update)
« on: January 19, 2007, 09:14:00 AM »
It would take too long to explain here, but if you could all pray that my mom's surgery goes well today and she has a speedy recovery, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Like many of you, I may not post a response when answering a need for prayer. It's not about the number of posts. I know I can count on you and you all can always count on me.

Thanks,
-Tom

Prayers sent for the peace of Jesus presence, protection, and healing.

Tom,

It's good that you understand the posts dont equal the prayers provided or said... I know many who just don't post but pray.

On the other hand, I've benefited so much from coming here and being reminded of spiritual truths in my own struggles, I always want to pen a word or two.

May the Lord be with your mother, her team of surgeons and doctors and all who love her to guide all toward God's will for the outcome. May that outcome be one of healing, strength and renewal.

Phase one is complete and successful. Mom is home (and glad to be there) and feeling good. Waiting until formal meeting with the Doc next Monday to discuss what comes next. Without going into great detail, it's digestive related. They just want to make sure it was all localized. If so, then phase two won't be that bad. We're all praying for the best.

Thank you all!
