Praises!!!
« on: March 01, 2007, 05:14:00 PM »
Well, guys...

You've been keeping that ole thread of mine alive since Dec. when the sewer backed up, flooded my apt. and all that followed.

I shared how I found a new place to live after the legal entanglements wound out to a 60 day notice to quit...how the new landlady and I hit it off till she talked to the old one..and something told me to just leave it at the Cross and let her figure out her mind...and she came to ask me to rent the place...etc, etc...

Well, I'm moved in (sorta) and finally scrubbed the ole dump till it shined even knowing they were going to trash the place and gut it... they had little to say when they viewed it (I had a witness) and took lots of pics. Now it's up to them if they don't return my 10 year old deposit..I'll have to decide what to do based on what % they'd try to keep for no reason.

Lastly, as some know, I got a job! It is so wierd. I'd met a guy at a church I visited in Oct...he mentioned he owned a company, we chatted about the "consulting" I did to survive but was looking for a home...

January we talked again... actually did some work for him... made reports on issues I saw...and he turned around out of nowhere the other week asking me to come make the fixes happen...

Company is struggling so they can barely afford to hire new help...so its a big step for them. Money is not of market value BUT... there is no limit to the things I can help with here...

God is good All the time! I've told anyone willing to listen that I "don't care what I do as long as I use my skills God loaned me" and whew... be careful what you pray for!  :)

I don't have an office or anything...go there, do some stuff...go home and type up stuff and go back next day...but I AM WORKING!

Thank you, Jesus. To have it be nothing I applied for...where the chance of them being able to afford a new position is 90% impossible...all just points to God's Hand in all this!

Thank you one and all and especially a few who made it their goal to be personally in touch and to make wonderous offers of help.

28 months later...His will be done! Whahoo! Praises to our Lord! Thank you, Father!

Thanks, Guys!

Now to use what skills He loaned me to help this company turn around. I'm going to be the "bad guy" for a while, but I pray that I can listen more than speak and learn more than teach...and find ways to empower others to embrace change that will ultimately benefit the company at large and secure a brighter future for the employees.

The owner wants to retire in 10 years and sell the operation to the employees to run. Right now, that isn't possible!

Prayers for discernment, patience, insight and better hearing to Hear God's direction in all this!

Amen Doc and prayers for healing for your soul from all you've gone through during this trial.
