Prayers of Joyful celebration
« on: November 20, 2007, 10:00:00 AM »
One of our own here might appreciate some thankful rejoicing and praises to God for his journey.

"Redeemed", aka Brad, has been ordained in his church this past Sunday and I was privilaged to be invited and to see the Holy Spirt at work in a church full of people who hugged everyone and truly showed God's love and joy in their midst.

Congrats to Brad for his willing answer to God's call and his future work in ministry, along with his work with kids as a Youth Pastor.

Keep the Son in your eyes, Brad!

Doc is a mess, but I am very thankful for a group of guys like we have on here.

Dave I love that we can continue our internet relationship without harm to my marriage(lol)

God blesses me more everyday, and esp with friends like this. God bless to you all.

Ok..now that last comment, Brad, forces an explanation...

Brad's church had a reception for him after his ordination service.  I met a lovely lass that is great friends with him and his wife and as we went through the chow line, she asked how i met Brad (as I'd never seen him in person over the nearly 2 years we'd interacted through this site and then emails). I mentioned we developed a "internet relationship" and you should have seen the women's heads in the line ahead of us snap around like a ole hooty owl.

I figure ole "preacher Brad" will have some "s'plainin" to do here shortly!   :knothead:

Shoot, even God's got a sense of humor... I'm livin proof Lord loves a good joke!  :)

  Thanks be to God for your blessings. May He speak to your spirit His awesome truth for you to share.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])
