Servicemen
« on: November 21, 2007, 10:43:00 AM »
Please offer up a special prayer for all our men and women in the arm forces stationed away from their families and friends. The holiday season is a very difficult time for our brave men and women who protect us so we can enjoy our freedom.

In HIS service
Dave
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Never far from mind with today's newscasts, David, but it is well for us to stop and take special time to remember and ask God's blessings on all those who serve.

Lord, protect all those who are away from home and in harm's way...let your Holy presence be upon them so they feel your loving warmth in the absence of their family and friends.  Give them peace. amen
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Prayers for all the servicemen and women.  Let us not forget the police officers, firefighters, and emergency service personnel who will be working to protect and serve us through the holiday season, while we are warm and comfortable in our homes with family and loved ones.
