Feather Grinding
« on: December 18, 2007, 09:56:00 PM »
Does anyone know where I can send a bunch of turkey feathers to have ground? I have the jig by Great Northern, but I have a lot more than I care to do. I have about 200 primarys and about the same secondary feathers. One of the feather companies used to do it in the off season, does anyone know which one?

Trueflight used to, but no longer does that.  Raven is probably the most popular one for grinding feathers.  I think there number is in the back of TBM, but Im sure someone here will post it.  Tom is a pretty nice guy and does a good job from what I have seen. dino

Timberghost is a member here and will grind and chop your feathers on halvers. He has some of mine now, and I have heard good things about his work.
