Prayers please
« on: March 31, 2008, 06:55:00 PM »
Hey Gang, I would sure appreciate all of your prayers as I begin a quest for a new job. I was notified today that my job has been eliminated and I have been given about 3 months to find something else. I have learned through my faith and trust in God that when one door closes he always has another one for me. It may not be in my timing but it will always be in his. Thanks ahead of time for your prayers. God Bless

Gracious Heavenly Father, During times of turmoil you never leave our side.  Be with CJ as he searches for a new job and deliver unto him the many blessings you have in store.  May he find work that he loves and brings glory to you.  In all things may your will be done.  Amen.

Hey CJ,I am praying for you brother. It sounds like you have it all together concerning God's plan for you.I think the hardest obstacle to get over, is the patience thing. At least for me.But you know and I know that when we give it up to God he will walk us thru it.You stay strong CJ and God will walk you right thru that next door.

Add my prayers for you to find something sooner than later and that He will guide your steps to something where you can use your skills.

Our company is in a similar fix. WE're all taking a day/week lay off.

I came here at the owner's request over a year ago to help turn things around, but in a family owned business, I find his resistance has made improvements impossible and here we are on the brink...

I suspect many more of us might be in this plight before things get better... this country has had it good for a long time...

Keep the Son in your eyes, CJ!

I don't know what the Lord has in the future for you but I admire your attitude.  I can testify that He has always been there for me in the job department even when I did not know it.

I will pray for you.

Prayers sent CJ , I've been self-employed for 35 years and never get laid off , but when there is no work I sit home and don't make anything  . As Doc said we have been having good times for a long while and sadly we are due for a downturn . Its hard when it affects us personally , keep your Faith
