Thanks, everyone. You are all such a blessing. I know many do NOT post, but pray, which is what is desired...prayers for insight, strength, wisdom and peace to trust in God's plan....

I foudn out this AM that yet again, things have changed!  :)   The trip Wed to interview Thursday, are off due to some complications on that end! Later, a call came in that I might fly Tuesday, tomorrow, to be there Wednesday for short meeting/interview with 2 on 1 at mid-day.

Thanks to all for the continued support and prayers! This all makes this next round of interviews so profound... and both are "tough nuts" apparently!  :)

Once again, Christ shows me that indeed, there is absolutely NOTHING I can do successfully relying on my own wits and talent, unless I surrender to His Will.

Pray that I have that courage to do so unrelentingly! It's scary... I need this and want this...and everything else on the horizon has been silent the past 2 weeks.

Thanks to all!

Father God, we praise you for this new and exciting day. We thank you for being in control and watching over us, and in particular, Dave today. Let his travels be filled with your guidance, and gentle hands of assurance and support.

We claim your Holy Presence and Blessings upon Dave, and his new job to come. We thank you in advance, for your will, and knowledge in our needs, and his. May your will be seen today, through easy travels, smooth interviews, and acceptance from all who Dave meets and converses with, in his job situation and daily affairs.

Thank you Father for your love, peace, and protection in our lives. To you the Glory and Honor are given, as it is your works, and not our own, which triumph so loudly. In Jesus name I pray, and claim these things, Amen.

Wow. Thanks BOFF and Benson and Jeff.

This hopscotch I'm playing with this last set of interviews is getting almost humorous!

I'd not heard anything by way of confirmation yesterday by 3:45, so wrote a short note inquiring.

Got a quick response...now they've scheduled me to NOT fly today, but to wait until tomorrow to fly out at 7:30AM... and the airlines like you what...? 2 hrs ahead of flight! And I live an hour away! So I'm up tomorrow at 4am latest, rush to get outa here dressed in my monkey suit...to the airport, park, get through security and then hope to find something decent to eat.

Fly to Pit, then rent a car and drive 45 min to the location, make sure I know where it is, then find something to do to kill time till my mid-day appointment!  :)

I don't do great when I have to get up in the middle of the night...even hunting I kinda get beat down by mid-day..need a seista.

And then go into an interview with the 2 toughest of the encounters to date! Hoo-baby!   :D

I'd ask to fly out the night before to get a decent bit of rest and time to visit the locality, but for whatever reason, nope!

I fly back by 5, so have to be back at Pitt airport by 3:30, leave plant at 3... I'm going to get maybe an hour to drive around a bit...

Once again, left to my own devices and abilities, I'd naturally be so tired and brain dead, so as to suck by the time the interview came around...so if this goes well, it's ONLY by the Grace of God!

So...takin my own advice and trying to

...Keep the Son in my eyes!

Thanks for the prayers and support!

Hey Doc prayers for God's supernatural strength and wisdom. May God be so close to you through this that you feel His breath on your neck.

Benson,

NOw there's an image of "intimacy with God"!  :)

I've never heard it put quite that way... but that would be something to experience! Wow!

:)   I'll know something for sure I'm told by week's end! Won't that be something!
