From what I've seen...once the doc tells him to start doing the work outs...that is huge. Gotta get those muscles back in shape where they split ya open... gives me chills...but it's worth the investment!

Glad it all went well... I'm betting he'll feel so much better, he won't believe it!

PRayers for continued positive outcomes!

Amen. Praise God

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers.  I made it back home yesterday afternoon, and found out quickly that I 'm going to ask for a lot of faith and patience during the healing process.  Feeling pretty well, though, breathing and walking are coming along nicely, it's the "snap, crackle, pop" along the sternum that's bugging me now....  :knothead:

Be careful because my sister-in-law's son had a quad and overexerted himself which pulled the sternum apart. It is very painful and now they have to go back and reconnect it.

Been away and it's great to come home to read the good news, Kevin.

Benson is offering sage advice... do what your supposed to, but never exceed the warnings. Dude...the sawed apart your breast bone!

It takes time for that bone to "knit" like a broken leg or something!   :knothead:

Doesn't mean you can't do the utmost in conditioning for cardio that they suggest... and get the ole ticker pumpin O2 rich stuff through there to help the healing...

Man it's good to see you back home and doing well!

Glad to see that you're back home and doing well!

It will be kind of creepy the next time you split the rib cage on a deer.  :scared:

Yeah, you're right Doc. That probably did hurt. The problem is, it's pretty easy to make Kevin laugh. Good thing laughter is good medicine!
