Sad News Regarding Al Harford (Al's Decals)
« on: October 12, 2008, 11:31:00 PM »
Al Harford passed away peacefully today around 4:30 pm Oct 12 Sunday.
There will be a service in San Jose, California and as per his wishes he will be cremated and his ashes will go to Texas.
The Archery community lost a stand up gentleman today and a friend to us all.

Thankfully, our Gracious Lord allowed your friend to pass peacefully.

A few weeks ago, I posted about a dear 84 year old neighbor in Central PA, who'd become like a dad to me, had beaten bladder cancer 10 years like AL did the lukemia. He too, left us quickly once it resurfaced, but with only a bad night or two, and thankfully, his passing was also peaceful.

Praises to a Loving God who knows better than us when our time is fullfilled. May God grant those who are left behind who knew and loved Al the peace that passes all understanding.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

My thoughts and prayers will be with Al's family and friends.

Al was truly one of the nicest guys I have known. I have many fond memories at archery meets, etc. with him.
He liked to kid around and always had a good time.
Gonna miss him. Jim Harris.
