Lost another dog..could use a few..
« on: November 10, 2008, 11:27:00 PM »
We lost another of our faithful family members, having previously lost our other one on Dec 31st.

This was her best friend....a rescue dog that had been abused and suffered from seizures later in life.  We gave him the best ten years a dog could ask for and in turn he gave us unconditional love. His health deteriorated and today we had to send him home peacefully.

My wife and I are grieving again...having lost both in under a year.

It's only right to have such a sense of loss for a living creature that gave you so much. Embrace the grief and carry the love forward for many years to come.

May the peace that passes all understanding be yours through Jesus, who knows what sacrifice and grief really are.

May your sorrow diminish with time and may you find new outlets for your love and companionship.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

I know your pain, Prayer sent.
We are what we do repeatedly. Execellence is, therefore, not an act but a habit.
