Sorry to ask again.
« on: November 21, 2008, 12:38:00 PM »
I just got offered a temporary job that has an outside chance of becoming permanent. The problem is I am having a problem with the vision in my left eye. This started a week ago. Last night was my first night on the job and driving home I almost had a serious accident coming home. I called to see if there was any chance I could work the day shift so I wouldn't have as much trouble but they won't work with me.

The worse part is they will not let me return to work until I get full medical clearance. I should have kept my mouth shut. I was just being honest since I found out last night I will be working some distance in the air at times. I also have a chance to work for an outdoor publication which would let me set my own hours so please pray that if this is to be it will happen. I meet with the publisher this upcoming week.

I believe in prayer so please pray my eye problem away for me. Thanks.

You've had your share of trails, George.  And I have to think that many of our trials might yet deepen with the way things are playing out.

I will continue to carry you in prayer. Right along with Curtiss and a number of others who've shared their delemma here about work.

Faith is believing what cannot be seen nor proven. Mine has been shaken of late with nothing happening and I know from experience it can seem that God's forgotten us... be we KNOW, through FAITH, that is never true...

Feelings are not reality. What we feel is momentary. Faith springs eternal, but that doesn't mean we don't have periods of doubt, huh, Buddy?  :)

Hang in there.  Prayers for whatever mystery malise is causing the eye problem to just go away, that it will pass quickly and if the publication job is a better fit...that soon it will come to fruition for you.

Keep us posted and keep in touch.  Dispair is the devil's playground...

Keep the Son in your eyes, George!

Was taken to the hospital yesterday with a blood sugar of 386. Had someone come in and start talking down to me so I exploded and checked myself out. Would appreciate continued prayers for C2, Doc Nock and all others in need including my family and myself. Thanks.

Father we ask that your Holy Spirit manifest himself in George both physically and spiritually.  Great is He in George then he that is in this world.  Give him sight physically as well as spiritually for it's in Jesus name and no other that we pray!
John 8:36

Dr said my eye is fine it is just ocular trash that will finally settle out of my sight. I was in the hospital briefly with my blood sugar (386) but I am out. Thanks for the prayers.

Good to hear, George!

What's the verdict on the job situation you shared?

Prayers continue. Though they may not seem like they're doing anything sometimes they are like bricks in that you have to keep laying them down to build what you want.

Good one, Benson... takes a lot of bricks to build a job!  :)

I'll remember that too!
