Well, good news and bad news.

On the bright side of things, after three weeks I finally got a call from a recuiter and had a good initial interview on Friday. I go back on Tuesday for a follow-up with the next level of mgmt. I also had another recruiter call me on Friday and I hope to have an interview with a different company next week.

On the not so bright side, my car has died and isn't worth repairing again. So, I am looking for some more transportation at a low price. I have been praying about it and looking at what is available on the used car websites. Found some that meet my needs and was going to ask my mother for a loan but got a No on that in prayer. So, the Lord has something in mind for me to get some wheels, I just don't know what it is yet. Please pray for me on getting some wheels and on seeing how He is going to do it. Oh, and for a successful interview process on this first opportunity. It is about an hour away but it is the kind of work I have done in the past.

Thanks again to all and prayers for you and yours,

Larry

Amen and prayers sent.

A small blessing to show us that He is active in each of our lives happened yesterday. My wife and I came home to find a tray of cookies from our neighbor and a Christmas card. Inside of the card was a gift card from the local supermarket, they had bought us the makings for a Christmas dinner. We smiled and cried at the same time. God is Good, and so are our neighbors!

Thanks for sharing, Larry. Simple goodness and kindness is what He calls us to do daily.

Wish there were more than prayers I could offer right now... but you know why...  :)

Merry Christmas dinner!  :)

Well, time for another praise report. It took a week to get everyone to say yes, but I got an offer of a job today and I start on Friday when the next pay period begins. I had to take a bit of a pay cut but it's all good. God took me from an uncertain environment with a good deal of stress into one where my life will be much simpler while still doing what I do.

Now I just need to find the car He has waiting for me and see how I will pay for it.

Praising His Name,

Larry

Keep the faith everyone, it's a hard trip but He always sees us through to the end.

Larry, I've been praying for you since you first told me of this. Know that you are not a failure at all! You have a wonderful family and friends that care about you. You have also done much for the bowhunting community in MD that otherwise would not have gotten done. Your tireless work has benefited many who you don't even know. Stay strong in your faith. You KNOW He will carry you through this and deliver you into a better situation. If you need anything or just would want to talk you got the number.
Don't sit around and let things happen to you. Instead get busy and start making things happen FOR you. Get involved!

I spoke with Larry yesterday by phone. He said the first day in the new job went great. He was on his way out the door to look for a new car. Hopefully that went well.
