Great!

AWESOME! That is really good news!

I know that prayer and support work and that my next job is on its way too!

This news also gives me hope for my fellow countrymen. I was naturalized as a citizen by the grace of God, and know from my background and experience the value of the service men like you have provided us. Thank you! I am sure you were more than qualified for that job, but even if you weren't the best pick of the lot I'd expect those with honor to step aside to give you a crack at it. I'd let you cut in front of me in a soup line, my friend.

I wouldn't take a cut in front of you but I would take a seat next to you or any of the other great people I've met on here.

I just found out I made the list and should be receiving a tentative offer in the next few days.  Praise Jesus for this.
Now my only worry is that the army is taking too long on it's paperwork.  I need prayer for the Lord to supernaturally speed my stuff through so I can be free to start this Career.  Thanks for all the support so far.

To all that have given of the heart for Tim.. I thank you,

I have had the great opprotunity to get to know this goodman at the club we are both members of. He has been talking about this job for the last couple of weeks now. When all goes well I will be losing a shooting bud for several months as he will be at training..

I will be praying for him and his during his time away and will do my best to get him back in the field with us on his return..

Again I thank you all for your suport of my friend..

Bear Heart, I will be happy to pray for you and your family.  Lord we thank you for Tim. We pray that Tim gets the job if it is your will. We ask that you be with him and his family.  Please let Tim keep putting his faith and trust in you.  We ask that your will.   Please let Tim know that he will be fine as long as he contiues to trust in you. Lord I would also like to say thank for keeping Tim safe while he was in the service.  In Christ name we pray, AMEN.

I got called last week with the tentative offer to start out as a GS9 at the Federal Way,WA office.  That's where I grew up.  They sent me a packet of paperwork and fingerprint cards.  Got that done quick and back in the mail to California.  I have a physical on Friday the 13th and will have a drug test as soon as they call me.
We have had a couple slow downs in the licensing process and I can just see how God is bringing this together so that I will be here when the child He has for us becomes available.
Big mother Army is taking her time but all things are coming together for good according to His will.
I have stood on the the things that have been asked in His name by all of you for me.  Thanks for being the Church.  Blessing prayed for you and your households. - Tim

YOu are an encouragement for those of us, Tim, that have not yet seen any movement. Prayers that things continue to move positively forward, albeit, perhaps a bit slower than you'd like.

Supposed to start my new job on the 12th.  One last hurdle is that I have to get cleared out of the Army by the 3rd so that I can send a copy of my paper work to the agency I'm working for.  Please pray for smoothness and speed in this operation.  Thanks.

Prayers continue... easy to get nervvy at this stage, but continue to walk in Faith.

Picked up my DD214 today and faxed it off to my new employer.  I start on the 13th.  We have our home inspection on the 8th to get licensed for foster care.  Getting so close to bringing a child out of the system and into our home.
Thank you so much for all the prayers.  I have been battling my flesh's desire to stress out during this time.  The prayers and encouragement of those on this site have helped immensely to keep me out of that muck.  Many friends, meaning well, tried to discourage me from following what the Lord had told me to do; ETS from the military and be free from indentured servitude (basicaly bondage) They said there are no jobs out there so you might want to just stay in.  But I serve YAHWEH YIREH and eat from the provision of His hand.  I'll make a point of bringing this up in as many conversations as possible.  Not to shame them but to shed light on the truth that God alone is good and faithful and our provider.  I pray this is encouraging to those who read it. -Tim

Thanks, Tim. Indeed your words are true encouragement after 10 months of unemployment, one job that was a done deal that blew up last minute and nothing since...but yet, I continue to be blessed in many ways... important but so easy to overlook ways.

Blessing to you and your faith journey as you move forward.

keep us posted of your progress...we can all use good news!
