prayers of mom
« on: February 19, 2009, 12:30:00 PM »
Last night my mom had another stroke while we were talking to her on the phone. It's her 84th birthday today. The tests looked good this am but it's the 2nd one since Saturday. Prayers requested for God's perfect will. Thanks
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers for His perfect will and His Grace, mercy, strength, and Love be showered on all you who love her that she might feel His love and that of her children and loved ones throughout this time.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Sister says mom is doing well. Still in the hospital but will be home tomorrow. She's tough. She retired at 80 because she was older than most of the people in the nursing home where she worked. Thanks for the prayers.
