Ahem, D.A., and likewise. John - rehab sucks but it is absolutely necessary and will make all the difference in how well the whole surgery, etc. works. Stay at it, brother. It'll pay huge dividends.

Yeah, OUCH!!!
I got the same scar down my knee from surgery in high school. Definitley stick with your rehab regimen that they give you! It really isn't all that bad. I thought it was UNTIL I had shoulder surgery with a very similar nasty looking scar down the front of it--that was bad.
good Luck with teh rehab---you'll be up and running in time for hunting season!

You'll love it once you heal up--do what they tell you, no more, no less. My new hip is bombproof. Need a knee soon, too.

Good advice on the rehab... it's a Mr. Goodwrench moment: Pay in pain now, or pay in pain all the rest of your life!
Git er done.

When I went through PT for my shoulder the pain was initially too much for me to get any real benefit from the PT sessions. I found that taking 2-3 extra strength tylenol about 30 minutes before my PT session took enough of the edge off that the therapist could really do what needed to be done in each session.
Good luck and keep at it.
